Bagel City continues to be a landmark destination at the Pike Shopping Center since 1982 and is family owned and operated. When you walk into the restaurant, it feels like you are entering a New York Deli from the red, white, and black theme noted throughout the store. Bagel City is extremely family-friendly, and the hand painted custom bagel people murals all over the mirrors and walls throughout the restaurant creates a warm atmosphere. The unique thing about Bagel City is that we are a bagel boutique operation with a recipe that dates back to 1883 from Ukraine. There are no added preservatives in our bagel dough recipe which means the bagels are all natural.
Our bagels are baked fresh everyday throughout the day. To accommodate our customers, we are open every day of the year. All of the deli salads and cream cheese spreads are made fresh on the premises. We not only make bagels but also offer a selection of homemade breads, hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, fresh salads, knishes, pastries and more. Stop by and meet George and Stephanie and learn why generations of customers continue to patronize this New York style restaurant, deli, and bakery. We look forward seeing you at Bagel City! Our heart and establishment is always open for you.

A bagel landmark in the DC area, and a diamond in the strip mall rough of Rockville. Best bagels ever? No, but DC isn’t really a bagel town, and Bagel City is among the best of the bunch. Some of the best veggie cream cheese I’ve ever had, big chunks of vegetables in it, just the way I like it. Also, very good pastries! Rugelach is great, so is the black and white cookie. If you’re looking for lunch in Rockville, why go anywhere else?

The Best Bagels in Maryland in my opinion. The garlic bagels are phenomenal. I always come here for breakfast. The bagel eggwich with cheddar is my favorite. The veggie cream cheese is also really good.

Whenever I’m in Rockville, this is where I go for bagels. They’re much better than most of what you can find in the area. I’ve gotten both everything and salt. Nothing mind blowing, but a good, decent bagel. Their coffee isn’t bad either (but, notice, I didn’t say it was GOOD exactly…)
