Our history for preparing bagels goes back more then a century ago. 130 years Moshe Zlatnicov of Kiev, Ukraine created the Zlotnick recipe. Moshe trained his son Abraham and then passed his recipe to him. Abraham brought the Zlotnick recipe to the United States. Abraham after training his son Aaron, passed the Zlotnick recipe to his son's care. Aaron in turn mentored his son Irv, who with his wife Helen trained George and his family with this recipe. George is now providing to the community a bagel you can trust, savor that no other bagelry can match in taste, texture and appearance. No, but DC isn't really a bagel town, and Bagel City is among the best of the bunch. Some of the best veggie cream cheese I've ever had, big chunks of vegetables in it, just the way I like it. Also, very good pastries! Rugelach is great, so is the black and white cookie. If you're looking for lunch in Rockville, why go anywhere else? Sarah W.
